- The first thing I'd suggest is to use a network connection when out and about so you don't get hacked while doing this.
- Next, I'd remind you to switch back and forth from the desktop to phone browser view and back again while working. WordPress can get weird from your Smart Phone, and you can lose certain features of websites you're on. So when something happens that confounds you, try to switch the view.
- You definitely have to get used that automatic zoom thing that Chrome has been doing while you type into forms. I researched how to shut that off, tried the steps, and... it didn't work! So that's all I can offer you at this time. The zoom aspect of this really irritates me, as a grumpy nerd who's always trying to get things done online. BUUUT anyway. ;
- Definitely use Google docs in tandem with WordPress and any other sites, like social media, that you may be copying and pasting from.
To open it, do this:
- Visit the FILES area of your phone. It's probably zipped, so you have to open it. Here's how.
- Press and hold your finger on the file you want to work in. The share button pops up. Click it, and share to your Google Drive.
- Now the file is unzipped. Click on the original file, then hit the back arrow a few times.
- Now you should be able to open the file because it's been unzipped.
- Once the file is open on your phone, you can highlight and copy sections of the text.
- Navigate to the spot where you'd like to paste the text, like a new WordPress blog post. Paste it in, edit as needed. Add a title and any other needed elements, like images, and a call to action. (Sign up for more tips like this- and the link.)
- Make sure you categorize so search engines can find the content you posted.
