Why I love what I do. Code 60 'til Tuesday. Do You Share Details? And more!
Published: Sun, 10/30/22
So I was thinking about why I love what I do:
- I get to write the TRUTH. No corporate agenda.
- I get to "work with cool, smart, creative people" yet remain independent. :)
- My time is my own! Do you love being able to work when it suits you? I work A LOT, by choice. Someone else might prefer to punch a clock and check out. Not me! Over here, the wheels are always turning.
- The people who buy content from me tend to share my outlook. That's pretty awesome. :)
- I find website work pleasing. I love details. (Sometimes that works against me, but I always learn in the end.)
- I can teach these skills to my son!
- I get to impact the quality of information that's being shared online.
- I've mastered so many skills from being in the thick of the everyday functions of my business.
Something else: it's NOT about buzzwords around here. At Wordfeeder, it's about DETAILS.
An ad popped up for me from Better Help (because I write to life coaching and psychology topics, so they come up for me).
The topic was "It's okay to talk about mental health." The words "mental health" were mentioned several times. BUT there was a big problem with the ad as far as I see.
Not ONE specific detail was mentioned.
If we don't give those details, we're basically roaming around soulless online. No one wants "mental health help" from a keyword-repeating robot.
I want to remind you to put some SOUL into the words you share. Paint a picture with words. Create a scenario. What, instead of saying "At my house, we never spoke about mental health. It's important to talk about mental health" - the ad was something like...
"My boyfriend wasn't always nice. In fact, I felt a little intimidated by how he acted when no one was watching. But trying to talk to my family about it was pointless. My mom was so fond of him, sometimes it seemed like she loved him more than me!..."
"Some days it took everything I had just to get out of bed. I wanted so badly to tell my coworkers that I was struggling and needed help. But I was too scared of what might happen. What if they fired me?"
VO: "Mental health is a conversation that needs to happen..." (continue on with the ad)
I know I'm rambling a bit. BUT... there's a point to why I wrote all that. The point is...
Specifics bring your reader into the story. They're necessary if you want real engagement, and to add value. That's what we strive for in the content we produce here at Wordfeeder. This should be your publishing goal, as well.
Ready for the New-and-Improved Wordfeeder Site?

I'm really appreciating these pages that include a small product feature for EVERY product. Business, weight loss and life coach PLR pages are ready for you. I still have more of these to create for other content categories! But for now, take a look at what I've added.
Don't forget, you get 60% off sitewide when you order by Tuesday, Nov 1!
You get to use the code two times between now and Tuesday, Nov 1, 2022.
Go here to explore our business PLR offerings.
Topics we cover: small business, online business, content marketing, entrepreneurship, copywriting, email marketing and much more.
I fixed a lot of the forms that had issues, so if you weren't able to order something that you wanted, now is your chance. I STILL do not have a big list... so there's lots of life left in this content.
The life coaching PLR packs are here.
Audiences we reach with the articles: psychology, positive thinking, life coaching, self-development, mental health, relationships.
I may still need to tweak some specifics on the product pages but for the most part, the forms should work. If you find a dead form, email me and I will fix the problem AND send you an extra coupon code.
Weight loss PLR offerings live on this page.
This content is meant for health coaches and weight loss experts to publish. We talk weight loss mindset, fitness, nutrition, special diets, cravings, sugar and more.
if you see an error, please say something. I will fix and give you a discount code.
Again: The rest of the site has smaller groupings of content pages which I have not yet gone through! I'll run a similar offer after I do another batch.
Your coupon code is 60. Ends Tuesday. Happy content collecting!
