PART 2: Must-Know SEO

Okay... so now let's talk about SEO. This is critical if you ever expect to sell digital products online and make decent bank doing it.

If you REALLY want HOT prospects (not your mom, not your aunt, not your mail man) to FIND your content and SIGN UP then this is what you MUST do.

Sign up for Canva to brand your ebook and make the actual ebook (workbook, guide, whatever you want to call it).
Sign up for a list manager like Aweber - you MUST segment. This is what course selling is all about.

Now Plan Your Course Topic

Decide on a TOPIC that you'd like to offer an ebook or emailed series on. Maybe you already have the topic in your collection because you bought it as PLR, from Wordfeeder, Piggy Makes Bank or another quality content seller.
Do your Google homework. Type in some different phrases that relate to the topic. So, if your topic is Boundaries in Relationships, then visit Google and type that in to see what related keywords come up. Take notes. You'll need this later.
Strategize your keywords that you'll use to offer your course and publish about this topic. (You can't hog ALL the keywords. Just pick one main phrase and riff off that word combo.)
If you use WordPress, you're in luck! There are SEO tools to help you do this. You can get some complimentary SEO training SIMPLY by activating the SEO plugins. As soon as you begin to use these tools, you'll know what I mean.

All-in-One SEO and Yoast SEO are the WordPress plugins I use. Simply by playing around with keyword phrases as you create a new blog post, will help you learn.

I'll give you some clues to get started.

Use one of your main SEO phrases in the POST TITLE.
Also add it to your categories, and label the post under that category.
Tag your post with different word combos that include your main keyword or phrase.
Add HEADINGS (H1, H2, H3) that use the chosen phrase.

The more on-target your keyword use, the higher score you'll earn from your WordPress SEO tool. Each time you tweak a keyword phrase, hit publish again and watch your SEO score climb.

This will help you drive traffic to the post from people who definitely want to learn about the topic (in this case, BOUNDARIES in their relationships).
