So I was a little late to the mom game and it occurred to me at middle age that December has a flow to it... and if you go with that flow you can have a great holiday season.
We are on cookie baking week in case you didn't know! It was Christmas caroling last week. Of course we had Hanukkah but that changes from year to year!
I did what I do every year. Make two batches of cookies with my son, then get excited and run out to the store for more butter and other supplies.
Then run out of time and put my cookie baking project on hold for another several days and I may or may not make more cookies now!
