Digital Product Marketing Funnel Strategy will be the topic of our next e-guide with private label rights. If you want to get clear on funnels, learn something new and share with monetization potential, this is for you!

Technology is an amazing thing in that it allows you to actualize your sales funnel. You can visualize leads dropping into the funnel, but even more incredible is that we can use the internet to nudge them along through the sales conversion process.

How does sales funneling work with technology driving action?

A potential customer (a sales lead) uses the internet to seek and find something that you offer. In the case of digital products, they likely want to learn something new or obtain expert advice and steps for how to solve a problem. They come upon your digital product as a potential solution.

The lead then goes deeper, wanting to know more and researching your company. If you’ve set up your website correctly, you’ll have posted some informative content which they will then read. You’ll also have provided a sign-up form for them to be added to your email list so they can receive follow-up information or more tips from you.

After comparison shopping and possibly consuming a series of follow-up messages from you, your prospect may then purchase the digital product in question. Your lead has been converted to a sale!

What now? The customer hopefully utilizes the product, decides that they love it, and will consider you again the next time they are in the market for something similar.

Now is a great time to visualize your customer continuing to “spin” through the sales funnel, hovering in the low end. Will you make contact again and offer them something similar that they might bite for? Technology makes this possible through the use of sales pages and email follow-ups.

You can also use the power of email to trigger the ADVOCACY part of the funnel. This is the moment when your customer leaves a positive review, recommends you to others, or signs up as an affiliate. Doing this will help expand your reach so you can sell more while working less.
