Sometimes when I create these challenges I decide to version them. Most of the content is the same, but I change specific references and remove or replace certain, theme-specific words.
Why? Well, suppose you pick this up and you intend to set it up as an email autoresponder. A 10-day challenge that goes out during the holiday season. BUT.... but, but, but... the holidays are a busy time. Maybe people aren't opening your emails as much as you'd like them to. If that's the case... their holidays may not be as peaceful as we would hope. So that means maybe you'd get more response, more eyes on your emails, and more signups for this, during the non-holiday season. How about a Peaceful Summer Challenge?
Or... what if you prefer to say "Holiday Season" instead of Christmas? Or vice-versa. Maybe you're a Christian publisher who prefers to call it the Christmas season. Or maybe you are NOT Christian at all! You prefer holiday. Because I have two versions of this, you're covered. Say it one way. Say it the other. Offer this 10-day challenge in December. Or... offer it in June! You can even do both!
Who doesn't love options? Did you know that I actually had someone find a negative in my versioned challenges that I offer? She said "this copy is almost the same as the other." She didn't see it as me doing the extra editing work which added VALUE to the content. Instead she expected to get 3 entirely different documents, each written uniquely. That just goes to show that it's all about perspective. Most PLR that you'll come across is not only poorly written, but the topics are done to death, and very few providers will toss in a bonus version so you get more leverage from selling or sharing. If I version, you get to sell this twice a year instead of once with NO extra work. There will likely be different people on your list in a different, coming season, if you're continuing to attract new signups by publishing content on a frequent basis.
