NICHES for Coaches and Experts - What to Publish in Q4 and Beyond
Published: Thu, 08/06/20
Here's a flurry of ideas.
NICHES seems to be the big question. Coaches, writers and experts, what will your articles, ebooks and courses cover? Artists... what will your planners, journals, trackers and printables consist of?
Anyone want to jump into a predictive NICHE brainstorm for 2020 and 2021? We're still in quarantine... germ season's coming. School is sure to be crazy. Moms will be managing EVERYTHING. Money is a concern for many.
So let's think about what types of low content AND written content (because hey, that's my bag)... AND coaching topics (coaching's a marriage of these) to figure out what we should all focus on.
Here's what comes to my mind first, in the way of niches, please DO jump in with your own ideas if you have any. PLUS everyone puts her own unique spin and angle on whatever we create.
STRESS RELIEF.
Why? People are under pressure - about finances, family, jobs, school, government orders, illness, everything. I don't have to tell you, but here's a reminder.
NICHE Subcategories: Yoga, stretching, exercise programs, natural cures for insomnia, meditation, breathing exercises, self care routines, herbal remedies, teas, essential oils for relaxation, more....
Planners and printables could include yoga positions (this is huge), meditation rituals, stretching series, focus on different body parts, ailments and muscle groups ie yoga for digestion, insomnia, etc.
RELATIONSHIPS. It's not easy being stuck at home when everyone has a strong personality, or you're in a difficult marriage, home situation etc. Think about it, even kids - one can dominate the group with constant chatter, shy ones get passed over. People want to navigate their relationship difficulties and find coping skills.
Sub categories: Journaling your frustrations, gratitude, forgiveness, exit strategy, divorce or separation guidelines and goals, repairing your marriage/journaling your journey back to love....
MENTAL HEALTH. Focusing on the positive, journaling personal challenges, positivity and gratitude challenges, coping with difficult family members, setting boundaries, finding inner peace, figuring out how to stop arguing, sharing space, being more considerate...
MONEY. Finances are a huge concern for many people. How will they pay off debt? What about saving for the future?
Sub categories: How to make more money, how to freelance (many don't have the first clue), how to start a side gig, low-cost DIY advertising of your services, selling online, morphing your business, changing with the times...
Side hustles, affiliate income, starting your own special interest blog, getting a channel going on YouTube, selling on Amazon, doing
HOME ORGANIZATION. (big one - please see my latest pack, Wise Woman's Way - right here. https://wordfeeder.com/virtual-school-home-org-plr.html. Mom has GOT to be on her game this year. NO ONE wants a repeat of spring 2020.
People will want to rearrange the space to accommodate at-home workers and schoolers, keep the tech updated and secure, have all needed programs and machines accessible, separate teens from littles...
SIMPLE LIVING. Decluttering, clearing, stocking supplies, stocking the pantry, stocking school supplies, arts and crafts, sports equipment...
HEALTH/FITNESS. Exercise and good health go hand in hand, this has been and will continue to be a major stress reliever. Think exercise routines, equipment - yoga mats and accessories, exercise balls, free weights, machines, jogging outside, walking for health, fun and different forms of exercise, stretching.....
Planners could be about fitness goals, weight loss goals, meal plans, low carb ideas, whole foods menu planning.....
NATURAL REMEDIES. People are scared to get sick. Worried about catching germs at the hospital. They need advice on how to stay safe and healthy at home. Boost immunity. Sanitize, avoid spreading germs, heal faster from the common cold, which vitamins and supplements to take... stock MASKS... Herbal remedies, essential oils... home remedies... stocking things like vaporizers and misters/humidifiers for winter... thermometers...
People might want to catalog herbal recipes, teas, emergency protocol for illness in the house, organize important doctor contact info, health records, insurance info...... medications... journal and track home therapies such as PT, OT....
HOLIDAYS - how will we do holidays at home? I mentioned Halloween the other day. People will want ideas on how to make the at-home Halloween special... recipes, small gatherings, staying safe, at-home activities, tips for not sharing germs while swapping candy... what about trunk or treat?
Repeat for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm running out of steam. :D
Thank you for being on my list. Let's rock this one, people. If you have specific requests of your own, please reach out to me with your content ideas.
