Here's my latest hunch. If you want to keep on building your customer base along with me so we can experience success by sharing what we each offer, this is what I KNOW you have to do.

VIDEO content is now being prioritized by Google in searches. So if you hunt for a specific term on Google, you're typically going to see a list of videos coming up first in the search results.

I won't lie to you. This makes me unhappy! I'm a sensitive writer. I love peace and quiet, working in silence except for music now and then.

When I look for info on the internet I want to READ about it. I do NOT want to press Play on that video.

I KNOW there are people out there like me, us people who prefer to learn by reading are NOT going away! Am I right?

But it looks like the great Internet Gods are turning the web into TV. So we're going to have to make that work for us content creators. Here's how I propose we do it.

We MUST figure out a way to accomplish two goals:

ONE: Start sharing whatever you're selling or offering via VIDEO. What I'm saying is, you need to market your stuff using video now. I know, like you, I have resisted thus far. But I was just on TikTok last night and clearly this is where the entire world's headed.

TWO: Wrap whatever you sell around VIDEO. If you sell images, TALK about how easily they can be used to make videos. If you sell ebook courses, grab the nearest VA and turn that ebook content into a video. You can charge for the video course. People will love it, and you'll make more than if you just sold an ebook.

You should also make a video summarizing what's in the course. That's the key to being found!

If you make sales pages to sell digital products, part of your creation process should now involve putting together a quick video slide show that summarizes what you're sharing. PUT THAT VIDEO up on the sales page. Alice Seba, that smarty, has been doing this for a good long while now. She's one smart cookie, so let's all follow suit!

Wordfeeder will be tooling our content for the VIDEO AUDIENCE. So the articles will be written in smaller bits and bites - tips, if you will. The tips will be organized by category. You'll have JUST ENOUGH CONTENT in EACH tip that you'd be able to publish in a VIDEO SLIDE SHOW set to relaxing music, a voice over, or whatever you want to do.
