One way I like to drive traffic to my websites or blogs is by sharing the intro to a few different articles in an email that I send out, and then also add a link to the full article on my site so people can click through and read the rest if they like.

I also want to say that I really found this topic interesting to learn and write about. In fact, my son and I got so into it that we went searching for pictures of living diatoms online and we were absolutely enthralled. These wondrous, one-celled creatures have been around for hundreds of millions of years, and continue to evolve into new types. When they die, they leave behind their mineral-rich shells made of silica gel that do not decompose, but instead build up into a sediment layer that can be crushed into a powder, diatomaceous earth, which absorbs moisture and keeps insect, virus, germ and fungi populations under control anywhere you put it! No wonder diatomaceous earth powder remains one of the best natural pesticides and natural healing substances out there.

Online, we observed some really intricate and beautiful diatoms as seen on microscope slides. Unfortunately, it's hard to come by stock free images of diatoms, but I did see some pictures on the paid image sites if you'd like to add some to an ebook.
