LINKS FIXED: Make an Ebook in MS Word, Reader Asks About PLR & Search Rank

Published: Thu, 08/29/19

How's the back-to-school routine going for you if your kids started this week? So far I'm on top of everything but it's only day 2 for us. How soon before I run out of school snacks, before we're rushing wildly to make the bus, and messing up the sports schedule?! Coordinating is SO not me.

One aspect of working from home that really holds a lot of appeal for me is that my time is my own. I love not having to stick to schedules, get stuck in traffic each morning and evening, sit in pointless meetings, and basically just feel like I'm at the mercy of other people's ideas and direction. The school schedule is a lesser version of that, and I KNOW that moms from the 80s didn't have quite so many requests coming in from the school/activity committees. Life was simpler before the phones... just saying. But despite this, the tech is what brings me here, able to offer you very economically priced, prewritten content which I know we both love (I love creating it, you love not having to write it all yourself, am I right?? ;D). So don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the phones and computers on the one hand. Are you with me on this? What do you love about having an internet based business?

I was perusing my Wordfeeder videos after making the back to school greeting and heads-up about yoga PLR vid yesterday. (I don't love making videos, by the way. I kinda do it for the page rank though, and to give my audience a peek at the real me every once in a while, but ugh! ;)). Anyway, I came across this gem that I thought would prove useful for you. It's a simple video (nothing fancy, just me at the computer) of how to quickly and easily make an ebook in MS Word.

If you're looking to ramp things up for your business this fall, this video will likely prove helpful at a critical time. So check it out, very easy and user friendly. Maybe some people don't even know that you can insert photos in MS Word. Well, you can! So if you want to make use of all the great content you collect from Wordfeeder and other great providers, take notes on how this is done. You can give away an ebook to grow your list, add it to your member area of resources, sell it on your blog and from social media and email as well.

But you can't do any of that until you create the ebook. So get cracking on this, it's super simple and your audience will love receiving this useful information from you in user-friendly ebook form.

Another thing: I got a question from someone about search engines and PLR. This person was worried that the articles that they purchase would be a carbon copy of what everyone else is posting, and therefore their blog would be penalized.

Here is my take on that. Your blog should definitely not contain ONLY private label rights content, verbatim. If you post an article every once in a while that you bought prewritten, and you don't change a single word of it, you can get by with that and not have to worry about sinking down in the search rank. I know people share content online that is duplicated from elsewhere, all the time. But the key is that much of your blog or website's content should be original.

It is fairly easy to edit PLR. The key elements to focus on are the headlines and subheads, and the first paragraph.
A lesser known but effective way to make your PLR unique is by changing the order of the points made in the article.
Another handy trick is to add your own, unique lead-in sentence to each paragraph.

You can also save the PLR to use as done-for-you ebooks, mini guides and special reports that readers can download for free when signing up to be on your list. Then, use the basic points made in the ebook to run through a quick summary that becomes a fresh blog post or article to share on your website. The done-for-you, private label rights content will save you thousands that you would ordinarily pay a writer to craft ebook and course content from scratch. So DO organize and use your PLR!

Thanks for reading this, I'm going to focus on the "Do Yoga Anywhere and Any Time" article package that I started yesterday. (Still working on the title, as you can see.) I hope your self-care and wellness readers love this helpful advice and intriguing spin on a HOT topic. Oh, and if you missed the 30% off coupon but had wanted to cash in, just email me and I will reactivate it for you. The coupon code was POWER. I know this is a busy and chaotic week, so I'm striving to be especially flexible in our offerings. The content that was for sale is on this page.

Make it a profitable and productive week!
